Living in Phuket, Thailand for a month earlier this year was a dream - complete with an out of this world wedding by The Wedding Bliss Thailand, the most exclusive luxury planners in the Thai Wedding Market.
James & Kay's Wedding took place at a gorgeous seaside villa in the mountainside just north of Patong, Villa Aye. This stunning 8 bedroom luxury villa offers expansive grounds, stunning views, and exceptional service with a dedicated staff. Their poolside platform provides an intimate yet dramatic backdrop with radiant sunsets for weddings up to 100 guests.
The Wedding Bliss Thailand was founded by sisters, Jess & Nanya, and their team has years of experience in the industry. The Wedding Bliss planned a beautiful celebration for Kay & James with the most stunning backdrop of the Andaman Sea, while tying in some elements from their homeland of China.
The Floral Designer selected for the event, I am Flower Co., designed the most jaw-dropping ceremony piece decked out with Pampas Grass, Orchids, and glimmering crystals. The seaside view, in combination with the bright airy florals created an exquisite space for the couple to "Thai" the Knot! I am Flower Co. is a leading floral designer in Thailand that has mastered and produced one of a kind designs for some of the most luxurious weddings in the country. This installation certainly highlighted the unparalleled talent and attention to detail that goes into each of their events!
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed hand crafted cocktails by the Bubble Bliss Bar on the terrace of the villa while the ceremony space was transitioned into a dreamy evening set-up.
After the ceremony, the bride changed into a statement red dress for the remainder of the evening, which symbolizes good luck, happiness, and prosperity in Chinese culture.
For the reception, the poolside lawn was transitioned into a beautiful dinner party under delicate string lights and the evening stars. The Tabletop design featured lavish gold and classic white elements with candles flanking the florals on each guest table. The head table was dripping with festoon lighting while surrounded by another breathtaking floral installation. The guests were even able to enjoy a front row seat of the sunset over the Andaman Sea during dinner, setting the tone for a one of a kind evening.
The evening entertainment featured a few games traditional to the Chinese culture, fabulous performances by a live band, and vibrant fireworks set off from the seaside.
This wedding genuinely captured the energy, character, and beauty of Thailand thanks to the suppliers that made it such a flawless celebration and the love story of Kay & James!
