Meet the Team
Amanda Virga
OWNER, LEAd EVENT PLANNER, based in the south of france, available worldwideWeddings and events have had my heart since 2010, and they’ve never let go. My planning career began at a winery, where I planned vineyard weddings from scratch, and later, for a top-rated hotel & restaurant, where we hosted more than 200 weddings a year and multiple daily events. After gaining this essential firsthand experience in every aspect it takes to plan, coordinate, and execute a flawless event, I set out on my own and founded AMV Weddings in 2018.
At the same time, I embarked on a yearlong journey around the world to execute weddings across a range of destinations, collaborating with a vast network of vendors and venues throughout South America, Europe, and Asia, as well as our existing contacts in the United States. Through this time, I had the opportunity to explore diverse cultures and become acquainted with the most innovative wedding trends across the globe.
Not only do I know the wedding industry inside and out, I’m also deeply familiar with the intricacies of different wedding markets across the world. Whether you’re an American planning a wedding abroad or at home, I’ll navigate the planning and coordination process for you, so you won’t have to stress about locations, connecting with vendors, or figuring out how to execute a vision when you’re unfamiliar with the location. AVM Weddings is here to connect all the pieces for you.
We also work with clients across the world and welcome diverse perspectives, locales, and visions. Experience-driven events are AMV’s specialty, and I know I’ve done my job when both you and your guests say yours was an event like no other.
Today, I’ve visited 60+ countries and planned more than 500 weddings. I always treasure any opportunity to travel, connect with people all over the world, and plan unexpected, original, detail-oriented events that deliver at every level.

Brooke Beierle
Lead Senior Event Planner - BASED IN New JerseyBrooke’s passion for event planning began in college when she interned for a wedding planning company in Philadelphia. Over the past 15 years, Brooke has worked for several event planners and bridal boutiques across Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston, Minnesota and New Jersey. After settling down in Minnesota, Brooke opened up her own wedding planning business before moving to NJ and joining Amanda in 2021. Brooke has since coordinated 50+ weddings and events. Her love for travel was taken to a new level when joining Amanda with AMV Retreats, where she assisted in various international retreats and weddings.
Brooke loves making her clients' vision for their most important moments become reality, while at the same time handling all the nitty gritty details so they don't have to stress and can truly enjoy their wedding day! She believes in quality over quantity and spending time with her clients, getting to know each one.
Brooke is married to her highschool sweetheart, Mark, and they have two beautiful daughters: Edrianna Rose and Emersan Kay. They also have a 15 year old Shih-Poo, Oakley, who has been on every move and adventure with them! After living in six different cities in the past 14 years, her family moved back to the East Coast to be closer to family and is currently living in North Jersey.
Fun FactSIn addition to wedding planning, Brooke decided to take her love of photography and turn it into a business. She still has a lot to learn but enjoys using her creativity to capture families and their milestones.
Brooke enjoys traveling, especially where there is an ocean, renovating and decorating her home and relaxing with a Sauvy B while watching a good netflix series. No matter where she is traveling or living, she will always be on the hunt for the best local pizza!
Marie Kelso
retreat & Lead Manager - BASED IN NEW JERSEYAfter earning her degree in Communication from Rutgers University, Marie moved to NYC and began working in public relations, special events, and hospitality where she planned a variety of events including weddings, wellness retreats, fundraising galas, album release parties, and Broadway opening nights. She is thrilled to be back in NJ and working with the extraordinarily talented AMV team!
Weddings are Marie's favorite event to plan because she loves how every couple makes the day uniquely theirs based on their own love story and interests. Witnessing the joy couples experience when they see their vision come to life never gets old! Marie is also a romantic who still tears up at every first dance!
In addition to event planning, Marie is passionate about fitness and wellness and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Coach for Orange Theory Fitness.
FUN FACTSMarie planned her own wedding where she and her husband were married during an intimate ceremony at Bethesda Terrace in Central Park, followed by a reception at The Central Park Boathouse and a sunset cruise around the Statue of Liberty!
Roxannie Phillips
SENIOR Event Coordinator - BASED IN FRANCEWith an impressive 16 years of experience, Roxy has built a successful career by mastering various roles within the restaurant industry. From her time as a Sommelier at high-end establishments to her most recent successes as a general manager, Roxy has curated exceptional experiences for a diverse range of customers including high-wealth clientele such as A-listers and international royalty.
Renowned for her meticulous attention to detail, Roxy takes immense joy in orchestrating events that allow guests to savor every moment, unburdened by worry. Initially making her mark in her hometown of Manchester, England, Roxy later graced the vibrant scene of London as the general manager of a highly acclaimed Notting Hill restaurant. Captivated by the charm of the South of France during a memorable vacation, Roxy made the bold decision to relocate to the picturesque city of Nice, France, ready to bring her expertise to the forefront of luxury weddings in stunning locations.
Fun FactSRoxy loves nothing more than basking in the beauty of a beach sunset, a spicy margarita in hand, and a delightful plate of food, a ritual that has led her on a global quest for the ultimate sunset experience.
A dedicated sports enthusiast, Roxy’s love for football was ignited when her Dad took her to her first Manchester City game at the age of five and she has been a season ticket holder ever since. Not confined to just watching sports, she also loves to run, taking part in (and finishing) two Marathons for charity. During a recent trip to Los Angeles, Roxy also discovered Padel Tennis and has become slightly obsessed with it!
Ann Marie Wexler
EVENT COORDINATOR - BASED IN NEW JERSEYAfter graduating Monmouth University in 2019 Ann Marie searched for her true passion of what she wanted to spend the rest of her life doing. Ann Marie has a love for the service industry from her time as waitress, promoting wine and spirits, and helping close friends and family plan their own intimate events. Ann Marie loved the feeling of taking all the stress off of someone, where that someone can enjoy themselves and the people around them on their special day. Ann Marie loves a good challenge and knew the wedding industry was the next step in her career. After searching for that next step Ann Marie began working for AMV and was ecstatic with the new journey in her career while also working full time planning corporate conference events.
Fun FactSI am a huge foodie, I love to try new restaurants and different types of foods. When not trying different restaurants, I love cooking and baking especially having a huge sweet tooth. The way I relieve stress is going to the gym or winding down with a good rom-com.
Marta Cabrino
EVENT COORDINATOR - BASED IN NYCMarta was born and raised in Milano, Italy. After her Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Public Relations she started working in different PR companies and in 2017 she followed her dream and moved to NYC.
Following her Master’s Degree in Tourism and Sustainability she began working in the hospitality sector, where she discovered a new passion; planning events.
Marta loves to be creative and she enjoys the challenge of putting together unique and personalized events that reflect clients' personalities and dreams. She enjoys decorating, planning residential events, organizing shop openings, holiday and showers and engagement parties!
Since starting her career in the wedding sector a few months ago, Marta has found a profound love for the work she does. The joy of being a part of such a special and memorable moment in people's lives has deeply resonated with her. Seeing the happiness on couples' faces and witnessing their dreams come true brings her immense satisfaction and fulfillment.
Fun FactSMarta is also a yoga teacher, she speaks three languages and cannot live without her kitten Pantera. Her passions are traveling, cooking Italian food -always following her grandma recipes- scuba diving and marine turtles! Her dream life is to live in Costa Rica and help protect communities and the marine environment!
Carla di Pierro
EVENT COORDINATOR - Based in Nice, FranceCarla has been a part of the AMV Wedding & Retreats Family for 2 years. Born and raised in the French Riviera, Carla brings her extensive background working with luxury brands and events to assist our team on weddings and retreats all over Europe. While working in some of the most luxurious regions of France including Monaco and Courchevel for brands such as Dior and Louis Vuitton, Carla has remained an invaluable asset to our team working first hand with suppliers while managing logistics with a meticulous attention to detail for our events.
